Touched by the Spirit of Sankofa
Separated by miles
yet I feel you
for we have been one
even though we have never come together
our spirits touched
made love
while others looked on
witnessing
how Love truly exemplified itself
for we are the embodiment of Love
we are Passion personified
we are the mold that defines
what the heart truly is
not bound
by physical limitations
we have transcended
to a level
where we have created
a world that only consists of us
our Eden
where I am Adam and you are Eve
born again
we have reached a level
that we no longer have inhibitions
realizing
moments in life
oftentimes
is like a vapor
therefore
we shall seize this moment
return and retrieve
that which we have left
sankofa speaks
It is not taboo
to return
and
fetch it
when you forget
You can always undo your mistakes
and undo we shall
learning from past Xperiences
as we embrace new found revelations
flying forward
while looking backwards
I take your heart in my hand

beating as one
