Black Superman
Mild mannered aint never been my style.
I let the sunray bathe on my skull,
Its drives the Supermamas wild.
Aint got a chick like Lois Lane,
I dig them Shaquans, Kims, and Moniques,
they tha ones that light my flame.
I dont save hos, I save sisters,
and encourage all my Black misters.
I use cocoa butter for my skin,
I dont do ashy,
and the only smile is considered flashy.
I labor, I love, I lounge, I pray.
Im your Black Superman all day.
Im so bad,
other women be checkin for me.
But I dont do integration in my bedroom girlfriend ya see.
I like em dark, caramel, and butterscotch,
Thick to thin you can set me by a watch.
I rub my fingers in braids, naturals and even wigs and weaves.
I gotta reputation to keep it real
not to decieve.
My children adore me,
because I'm always there,
for a hug, a game, and to build.
I show my people love and how to live.
No matter how hard these whitefolks bleed me,
aint no kryptonite strong enough,
because my Nation need me.
No cape necessary to save the day.
Just my presence alone makes a way.
I teach, I study, break bread and impart.
Aint it hard to tell that Black Superman has a heart.
No need to impress,
for I am an impression.
This has been a Black Superman confession.
