I listen to all kinds of music from smooth jazz to classic rock from time to time, but I normally listen to various rap and rnb songs on mix cds I've compiled.

N.E.R.D. - Fly or Die
Sisqo - Unleash The Dragon
Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On (The Album)
Stevie Wonder - Talking Book
Anything by the Temps. I have a crush on David Ruffin's voice for some reason (I know you wanna leave me...but I refuse to let you go!)

I just got a whole bunch of new albums I'm still trying to get a feel for.
Sia - Colour the Small One
Marcy Playground - Marcy Playground (it's an old one but I never bought it when it was current)
Mark Lanegan and Isobel Campbell - Ballad of the Broken Seas
Jack Johnson - Thicker than Water
Some Paul Robeson stuff
and some Tom Waits stuff

Nina Simone - My Baby Just Cares For Me
Happy Birthday To Nina Simone, "The High Priestess Of Soul". She would have been 73 years old today. As a vocalist, pianist and composer, Nina was exceptional.
She is and will always be one of my favorite artists.
