Swinging works for some couples . . . so does polyamory.
The trick is to know if it would work for you and your partner. It's no use pretending or going along with it if you're not comfortable with it.

Hmm, I've been exposed to somethings however, group activity is not something I could find myself participating in. Especially being married. In my mind marriage and the sex in it, is for "one on one" participation. I do wonder at those who are so completely uninhibited that they could even share their spouse.......

Swinging is titled "Swinging" in America, I don't think I've heard it mentioned anywhere else. In many other countries men have sex with multiple other women other than their wives or HAVE multiple wives. Even in our mother Africa, the men of certain peoples are known to have more wives than some of your Mormon brothers in Utah & Idaho.
I don't get down like that because I'm not that kind of woman, but it exists almost EVERYWHERE.

the definition of "good"
no "good" woman today desires or requires anything more than what she can get with her husband.

So if your woman desired more would that make her a "bad" woman? (And don't beat me up, I'm female and I don't know your woman.) lol

i am attempting to define the consensus of the thread.
it appears to me that the definition of a "good" woman is one who never strays from strict monogamy.
a "good" woman is repulsed by the very mention of anything beyond that.
this is not my personal view, this is what i gather from the posters here, now.

Oh ok, that's what I thought. Well then, how would they explain the other women in other countries? I'm sure some of their husband's make them perform unspeakable (to us) acts with the other women, and those things are natural to their culture. Does that make them "bad"? Ladies... what's your opinion?

i only speak from what i know from direct experience.
i don't know what they do in other countries.
in the US, a "good" woman is one who is shocked and disgusted at even the mention of sex beyond what her partner will provide. a woman is therefore defined relative to her man.
God help the sister who gets a man with a low drive or poor health.

james, I'll have to say I'm feeling you. First of all, no one said that the couples were married. The were just couples. And I'm willing to try anything once. If I like it, try some more. If my partner came to me, and asked for this, and I approved of the parties involved (I was asked to do a threesome, but it was with a girl, and I haven't had any desire to be with a woman), then I'd more than likely do it. I'd rather know about it and do it together than have him doing it behind my back.
and james, I've learned to hold back my err...exploits, because men seem to go by that same creed, defining a woman in relation to her man/her past.
sex seems almost taboo to Black women.

This is the view of the conservative among us.
I continue to say that swinging works for some. And sometimes it's the female that prefers this lifestyle.
I also differentiate between swinging and polyamory. And I know people for whom this lifestyle also works.
It may not work for me, but it works for some. And so you gotta let them do what works for them.
