I hate when peole do that too. Male or female it's embarassing. I just could not see myself running behind anybody. I would not even put myself on that level.

Some people are not good at handling rejection.whoever the person that is not wanted may be,he/she might be in denial because they don't believe that their feelings are not being reciprocated and so they persist in their pursuit.the solution would be to cut off all contact and keep your distance.soon enough, the message would sink in.

I agree with you, it does kinda scream, "I hate myself". But at the same time, I think that the guy she is running behind kinda enjoys the attention, otherwise, he'd just tell her that he's not interested and never will be.

They're desperate for some love, attention, and affection. You're right--- It IS sad.

There are soo many people in this world ,
could you reccommend that she join some group, something that she enjoys that will leave an avenue for her to meet others,
does she like poetry ? what about joining a poetry club? or even an art class ,
suggest something in her arena ..to deter her from feeling so lonely and unwanted.

Reading this reminded me of a friend I had quite a few years ago. She was like glue, wanted to be always around you from dusk till dawn. This soon tired me out, and it got to the stage where I didn't answer the phone. She would call and leave messages like, "I know you are there, so please answer the phone". When she stated doing that, I knew it was time to let her go, and I did. I haven't seen or heard from her in years, Thank God!
