I won't put up with lying, probably first and foremost. I got rid of someone not long ago because of that. I just won't put up with it. I also won't put up with someone not trusting me or accusing me of stuff all the time either. I don't like drama so that is also grounds for termination.

That is where I just got back from! Complusive lying, no trust, accusations. Down right two-faced.

Those type of relationships have to bite the dust quick. I just refuse to deal with that type of thing. IMO a relationship should be an enjoyable experience. I'm not naive enough to believe that it's always going to be day in the park cuz that's just not reality in any relationship, be it sexual or platonic or a relative or whatever. Grown folks will run into conflict from time to time. But when a relationship is full of bad days and it's no longer enjoyable it's time to dead it, quick. I don't believe in wasting time on anyone who doesn't deserve it. |

I won't tolerate unsolicited advice. If I'm having issues and I tell a friend about them... I just wanna VENT. So unless I specifically say "Give me some advice", my friends need to be aware of the fact that I just want them to lend an ear.

As for friends, pretty much the same principles apply for me. I don't deal with lies or mistrust. Don't talk about me behind my back in a way you wouldn't be bad enough to say to my face. I don't mind unsolicited advice, but there is a way to do it that isn't disrespectful or in a way that's condescending. As far as theivery goes, well that may lead to violence.
