When you got married, did you limit your friends to ones that were married,or just had friends no matter what their marital status was?

I didn't stop being friends with people that I knew before I married, regardless of their marital status.

I'm not married, but speaking from a friends POV I must say that when my closest friend got married, she was looking at me like what's taking me so long. She wanted me to hurry up and get with someone so that we can all look "cute" going out as couples . Of course once you get married priorities change, we dont chill together as much as before and til this day she is waiting around on me to settle down so we can hang out together as couples

I don't limit my friends, we both have single and married friends. But on the whole, we associate more with our married friends because we have more in common.

I still have girlfirends that are not married. Most have been in longterm commitments though. they do like to think I can just take off all the time with them on every single place but I can't. I don't see hanging out with non married girls as long as you know yourself. You can have time for both and still honor your commitment.

I've been married twice and the answer both times was no!!!
I really didn't have much choice in the matter, the friends i did have that were single moved on and stopped calling and hanging out and the female friend for some reason a few got too close for my own good....lol
Same with the second time except I had no male friends this go round just female friends and that was way outta hand some were jealous and one in particular who just happened to be an ex and we still were friends, tried to take matters in her own hands to persuade me to be more than friends, then after she got shut down she no longer spoke other than hello and then dead silence afterwards.
So i guess it can be good and bad depends on the person but I have had no luck what so ever in having female friends... go figure

We have friends no matter whether they are married or not. We both kept our friends from before we were married. We have both male and female friends.
