I think that a man should have a say so in whether or not his child will be born. However, the quickest way to not create unwanted children with someone is not to have sex with them. That said, a "real" man, meaning a responsbile mature brother, will almost always do the right thing. And women should at least ask the brother how he feels before she just does it. I know too many females who have aborted their children and their boyfriends cried for days thinking about the little lost ones....

No matter what...it's the woman's body and noone should have the right to tell her what to do with her body.
The man's decision in the conception of the child ended after ejaculation. If he chooses to place his sperm and her egg in the same space, his decision is over....technically.
Now, if she's a rational person she will appreciate his input...but ultimately the decision is hers.

I think this is a very intelligent yet hard dicussion to have because to my knowledge, and correct me if I am wrong, there isn't a way for a man to find out 100% if he is the biological father.
If there was a way, then as long as it is his child, then I think that he should have some legal say so on the matter. If for example, the mother doesn't want to raise the child and he does, maybe they can come to some understanding that she have it and give it to him. He can't make her have it but maybe she would go through the pregnancy knowing that she doesn't have to raise it.

Deciding on abortion is about more than just raising the child.
Some women dont' want to be mothers. If you carry a child to term and the father raises it, you are still the mother.

I feel you babydoll, and I do believe that the woman should have the very last decision. I meant in some cases the woman may want to have an abortion for the sole reason for not wanting to raise it.
Me personally, I have 2 children. I detested both pregnancies. I thought it was the hardest thing I ever did in my life. On the other hand, I love raising my children, it was just that carrying for 9 loooooong months. I hated it so much that I tied my tubes after my baby.
So, different women have different reasons for abortions. Bottom line, it is the woman's body and she should have the last word but it would be nice to at least get the father's opinion on the matter.

No. I believe in discussion, but in terms of the health and well being of the mother taken into consideration should always be paramount to this decision. If the man is involved and truly cares about his sig other/partner/wife, and all other options have been weighed...ultimately, it's the woman's decision and she has to live with that.

I wouldnt say "control", but at least have a say so. It is his child also. Ultimately the woman would make the final decision, but if the father wants or does not want the child. I think his opinion should at least be considered.

YES, if he is going to be a real daddy/father, he should have every right to make that decision (unless of course he was a rapist)

i say no but i should say it depends now if he's going to sign papers saying that he going to be the guardian of that child and the mother dont have to have no responsibities yeah he has a say but these no good men that aint gonna take care of the child in the first place no
now i dont agree with the abortion process but i do believe that ppl should make their own decisions and i dont judge anyone who believes in the process but i know plenty of men who will tell you to keep the baby and will not take responsibility so in that case
HELL NO
