Actually,

Yes. When I first started dating my wife her self esteem was extremely low. Now it is very high and that is to be expected because I have completely placed her on a throne and she is pampered like a queen should be. Because I am very attentive and she is very well taken care of!

I disagree. Self Esteem is not inate. It is taught. It is learned. It is transfered and then it blossoms. I build my daughter's self esteem every day. I speak words of life and victory to her and therefore when she sees herself she sees a winner, a champion, a princess and she sees her father's love. This is what it takes to build self esteem.

My wife made other choices in men and her last boyfriend was an abusive a hole. Beating the self esteem out of someone is cruel. So she was damaged by this. I have loved her through this and that is why she now sleeps peacefully.

It sounds to me that she may be dating someone else. You did meet via internet, so I'm sure that you are not the only person that she's met. I think that she may have feelings for you but is still keeping her options open. Just keep doing your own thing and let homegirl chase you. If she really wants to be with you she will make the time.
