What are the traits of your current lover/wife/hubby/GF/BF that you really admire and that drew you to them and keeps you with them?

For those of us who are alone......what are the traits that makes some one of the opposite sex a person of quality that you are interested in a relationship with?

Loving
Will hold her ground in a disagreement if she truely feels she is right
NOT selfish or self centered
Willing to learn new things and share her knowledge too (teach me things)
Has Empathy
Can take a joke
Cares about her body and does her best to be healthy and look the best she can
Does not blindly follow others

These are some things that I look for in a woman. :)

You nailed it on the first item....I dont know how I could forget TRUST. After all the BS I have had to deal with, that is the number one thing for me....maybe I forgot it off the list becuase it is so normal for me to look out for that in everyone I deal with, that it did not stand out in my mind.

Anyways, nice list Chelbe!! :biggrin: Met any guys down there in Florida that have met a decent number of these traits recently?

Well.. actually, Yes I have met a few. Are they single is the question. (Btw the righteous part was a friend of mines 2 cents) Anyway, I don't feel that the things I ask for are far fetched. Its not like I put a mandatory salary cap on him or ask for too much. Or am I? I just want a good honest person.

You are not asking too much at all Chelbe. You should keep your list as is and stick to it....make sure you take no less than you expect. You have a realistic list so you can afford to hold to it.

It's good to have a healthy relationship with your mate. It helps to get around those small obsticles.

I have to say my husband was very trustworthy and up front from the beginning about his other children and his intentions for them in the near and far future. That did it for me because that was an easy topic to lie on or suger coat. He was dependable, everything that he said he would do, he did it. The thing that I love is what happens between us, stays between us. Even intimately, my husband doesn't gloat or give out personal business. I love the fact that what happens in our house, stays in our house. Oh, most importantly, the sex is better today then it was in the beginning.
