Wedding Blues

Has anyone been to a wedding where something odd or bizarre happened? Something memorable and will be "till death do them part?"

I went to my nephew's wedding, and as he and his wife were standing at the alter just before vow exchanges, his eyes were slightly closing and then he'd reopen them. His father was standing close to him and was watching him as if he was concerned. My nephew then started slightly rocking forward, but still maintaining his balance. He continued with the eye movements, and the rocking became obvious. This went on for about 5 minutes while the pastor was talking. Just as it was time for him to say I do, he finally rocked to the floor. He fainted! I got it all on tape. He was out for about 2 minutes. When we went to help him, he was soaking wet, and he was barely responsive. The men got him up, took off his coat, opened up his shirt and the ceremony was completed outside where he could get some air.

They were married less than three years.

wait, wait, so you are saying that he had some trepidations on the marriage and now they aren't together anymore? What do you mean by less than 3 years? Or they stayed together?????

I'm not sure of why he fainted, I assume he was nervous, but they had issues before the wedding, and the marriage didn't last long thereafter. Plus they were young, but that's another topic. The point is, his fainting was a memorable situation that the family still talks about.
