No Call backs - AfroChat - African American

This question is aimed towards the brothers although I'm sure some men have gone through this as well.....

Whats up with the no call backs?!?!?! It is really infuriating for me....but the last few dates I have went on the guy just goes MIA...what is up with that... I mean you cant be man enough to tell me you are not interested instead you just dont answer your phone??? I mean it has left me feeling like I have done something wrong and I am left with questions that go unanswered..have any guys done this and if so....WHY???

guys do that. to me it sounds that you are just occupying their time for them so that they could be with someone who they really like. they just like wasting your time while they wait on someone that does the same thing to them like they do you.

You might be reading too much into it. While your intuition may be spot on, sometimes we don't like to give a clue that we're more interested in you than we perceive you to be in us.

By the time I met my ex-fiancee and later when I met my wife, I preferred to just put my cards on the table up front. If a woman's intuition doesn't tell her I'm sincere and real with her, she's a waste of my time. I think a lot of us men get to that point eventually.

There is no one answer. Sometimes a brother perhaps is letting your thoughts stew. Do you really like him? What is he really like? It could be intrigue. Now on the other hand it could be one them, "well, she aint the one. So why bother even calling" Also, a brother could just be waiting a minute. Sometimes sisters hate a "bug-a-boo". Could be a number of things. Hey! Here's a thought.... Why dont you call him.

At one point in my life I wasn't serious about dating and I wasn't ready to settle down with one female. Therefore, if the girl was really sweet and had a lot going for herself, sometimes I wouldn't call back.

I just didn't want to get in the way of her progress. But that was many years ago.

Eventhough you aimed this questions towards the brothas, I had to chime in as your fellow Soul Sista. Because you seemed conflicted inside and out needing some Sista guidance. It's evident that spirituallly, the men you've been selecting aren't a good spiritual match for you. So, its time move on to someone who is more spirtiually intune to you and your needs. Try prayer and meditation and do some self internalization because the answer you're really seeking lies w/in you. Let your spirit be your guide. Peace Be Unto My Sista.

This IS a mans way of saying he is not interested. Just keep dating and stop letting these situation get to your self-esteem.

Its definately not u. I think its like u said, they probably weren't interested for whatever reason, and found it easier, not to tell, so they just don't call ya back.

I know the thread was directed toward guys, but i'm guilty of it too. there have been times if a guy calls me back, and i won't pick up the phone.
