Why not?

- If I'm in a relationship with a woman, I respect her enough to not do something so foolish and disrespectful.

- I wouldn't want it done to me.

- I wouldn't want to harm someone I care about.

- I try to be respectful anyway.

if a man doesnt cheat, people will think he's sprung or cant get anybody else. In america a man is a person who has more than one woman in their lives, and women seem to accept it. Why you think so many men are dogs? the good men always end up bashed for being "a Good man"

A man-dog does not want to loose his Significant Other [SO]. Hence, he typically gets just as upset as a faithful guy if his SO ups and leaves him. But, a man-dog is a self-absorbed egomaniac. And, he is cocky enough to think, not entirely without some justification, that he can probably tap Insignificant Others [IO] and still hold onto his SO.

A lot of women will not leave their man even after they find out he is cheating on them. They get mad, throw things, and maybe even break some valued possessions. But, then, after all that, they end up letting their dog stay in the house -- comfirming his assumption that he can cheat and get away with it. If more women refused to put up with it, less men would cheat.

The male-dog is just one part of the problem. A man can't be a dog unless there are women out there who are doggish enough to sleep with another woman's man. The man-dog might start out trying to hide that he is already in a relationship. But, the truth always comes out eventually. And, clearly, there are a lot of women who choose to continue sleeping with their man even after they find out he is not a monogamous type of fella. If more women would refuse to sleep with other women's men, less men would cheat.

I agree..I've experience the trouble of being a "good man" but that hasn't stopped me, I won't let some "bad" women change who I am, I know one day I'll find a woman I can make happy, and she'll be able to do the same.

My wife has been through hell and back with me, she never left my side. There simply isn't a woman out there that could make me forsake her. Its not easy because there is a lot of temptation walking around but I strongly believe that you don't allow yourself to be in "tempting" situations. Period! In short, I love my wife and I believe on our vows. Thats why I don't step out on her.

When I was married, I did not cheat on my wife either. I can't say the same for her. I didn't cheat, and there were opportunities when I could have, because one woman in my life was already more problems than I would have liked to have to deal with.

You made pretty much the same point I did, which is that it is not easy for a man not to cheat because there is so much "temptation" [i.e., women who are willing to sleep with other women's men] out there.

Cheating is as much a problem with women as it is with men. Women are just better at not getting caught. Remember Nicole Kidman's line from "Eyes Wide Shut"?
