Ok, what kind of distinct group would that be? And since very few of us living in Amerika can claim not to have any other blood running through our veins, then we would all be in that group. What percentage includes or excludes one?

i use mixed to refer to people with one black parent. they are mulatto or colored. they are not black. |

This would be another thread discussion. One that we had before and DBlack wound up deleting. I will tell you that I respectfully disagree with you and others who believe this. Funny, how some (not all) black people are the only ones, to question another's degree of "blackness". Ask a white person whether or not they consider this "group" to be black or not.

I thought that we were trying to measure ourselves by a Black standard so, why bring up the yt comparison?? That's like the "one drop rule", Who exactly came up with that?
As far as Mr. and Mrs. Lucas, IMHO they just don't look right! It looks like both of them said "Who can I find that looks completely unlike me physically.........."

i totally agree with you...and i can honestly say i've been alone,meaning no man at all.simply because my brothas don't want a full-figured woman,yet if i gave the many white guys a chance i could have been married and living well! but i'm not into the white men,i can't see myself lettin them touch me.and i'm thinking ...they're thinking...we(the white men),took the black woman then and we can still do it now!...i will not be any white guys experiment!so as lonely as i sometimes feel...i refuse to be with a white guy...i'll just continude to be alone!
