Would you have a problem with your s/o's ex having to be a part of certain functions, where you would ALL be there together? What are your limitations, if any?

Would you prefer that they have NO dealings whatsoever in y'all's life?

if we have kids together then we will have to deal with each other...just have to pray the we could get along and act like mature adults.

I would much rather any ex stay out of the picture period. Its not always about trusting my s/o in this case. Some ex's don't have good intentions and some ex's become 'family like' members. However, if it was solely left up to me, no one's ex on either side would be around.
If so, all I ask is you respect me/him and be very aware of who I am and who you are not.

Hi ya'll...

the bottom line is if their are children involved. if so, then there has to be some contact, they have a child to raise together.

If there are none, the decision should be easy because there's no need for the contact.

See, this is why I prefer women with no kids. This would never come up because there is no reason for her ex to be around if there are no kids. If he is then I know that there is really no room for me.

We have children from ex's so we have no choice. So far, so good. The children only do what they are taught so once they become funky, I'll know mamma is the real culprit. The ex doesn't mess with me because I demanded respect from the very beginning, when you call, when you speak to me address me, treat me how you want to be treated. The most important thing is reminding my husband where he sleeps at night so he is obligated to NOONE but me. If he had to choose which one of us to make happy, he knows the answer.
