You know that people dwell on the negative (yeah me too.....sometimes!) I've posted a few times in the ir dating threads but, this is my first Black Love thread post

Oh yeah, me and the Mrs. have been together for 17+ years. (it's had it's ups and downs!)
My borther has been with his wife for 23+ and
My Cousin has been with his Queen for 19+

My mother and father have been married for 35 years.
Aunts and uncles all have been married for no less than 10 years...
Good girlfriend of mine just married her sweetheart of 3 three years two months ago.

Love is wonderful, no matter the color (or color-combination, in this situation).

I had to bold your first statement because I think interracial relationships should have no influence on someone's pride in same-race relationships. People are (hopefully) happy with whomever their lover is.

I feel it sullies the celebration of Black couples to imply that the only reason why you're mentioning them is because you're sick of the popularity of interracial couples. Surely I can't be the only one who feels this way.
