Women killed dating??
Hello All...
This is my first time starting a thread on this board, but I was reading a blog and found something interesting and thought it would be a nice topic for discussion (if it wasnt already). This blogger accused women of killing dating.
I thought he had some key points but I believe the "women killed dating" defense was basically an excuse. We never asked for chivalry to be dead. We never asked for dating to end. We never said we didnt want a King. All we said was we mattered, and should be treated as such.

Well, women as a group may not have but as individuals, you have. Women have allowed a minority of loud, aggressive and driven dykey man haters and their hard line feminist cohorts, to redefine what men and women should and should not do. They are the ones who have created this Draconian sexually politically correct culture and have taken the traditional male/female dating-mating-marriage protocols and turned them on their heads - for what currently appears to be for the worst.

I don't believe dating is dead at all. I don't know why men always complain about the women and their choices of men, maybe they just don't like you. I've never had a problem dating women, some like me some don't and I'm not gay, I'm not a thug I'm just a black man. If she don't like you just walk it off and move on.

The guys that are complaining are the "do the right thing" brothers. The thugs and knuckleheads don't complain because they are too busy dogging out women in mass. Unfortunately, it's the good guys that are being kicked to the curb. And it's black women who are moaning and groaning about the dearth of decent and worthy brothers. Why? Because many of them have a subconscious affinity and addiction for rough necks and thugs. And when things go south and the knuckleheads leave them with three babies for their best friend or sister, in retaliation and bittterness, they want to excoriate all black men as a group. That's the problem.

What about the women who do not want thugs or roughnecks? Sometimes I think men believe we want bad boys simply because we do not want pushovers. There is a difference.
Also, I want to point out most times the "do the right thing" brothers dismiss us because they have a subconscious affinity for the non black females.
I am not saying women have not contributed to the decline of dating...I am saying both men and women are at fault. Instead of playing the pointing game. Let's try to fix it, collectively.

There are sistas that don't want thugs and ruffnecks... they're just so rare, it takes time to find one. Be patient. It took me 25 years....

That will do it for me!

I agree with you. Somehow women have forgotten what it feels like to be "wooed", to be able to flirt and not only get a man's attention...but to hold it, to be wined, dined and swept off their feet and .....
It still exists if a woman chooses to make it so.

It is the weak Sistas without any strong home rearing/ guidance, and lost inner spirits that haven't realized this fact. As I've always stated to some of my sistas here at the board, what you project into the universe eventually is what you get back.
