Me and my fiancee met online about 5 years ago. We met online and things developed from there. If both people are being truthful then online can be a nice place to kinda get to know a person before you meet them in person. Normally you are more likely to tell the real deal about yourself online.

I met my fiancee on a forum something like this 1 about 8/9 years ago and we kinda got close within the last 5 years. I don't like the dating sites, you get alot of people lying just trying to smash every female they can.
