Homosexuality and black culture.

Why is there so much homophobia within the black community? It's absolutely ridiculous. Are we not the people that struggled with prejudice and hatred? How hypocritical would it be to be a race of homophobes? Homosexuals, just like blacks, are born the way they are. They cannot chance their sexual preference anymore than we can become white.

Not sure if you want to post this since there's already two threads a couple pages deep about this topic. You may calling out the wolves to tear limbs apart with this argument. Trust me. They'll do it.

Now its debatable if people are born homosexually. Thats a whole different topic that I don't want to get into. Sexual preference and genetics: never-ending discusssion.

I'm nothing like a troll, unless a troll is someone who asks an earnest question that is contrary to the message board's consensus on a subject. However, when I first joined this site I remember it stating something about freedom of thought or adult conversations. I wasn't under the impression that it was authoritarianism; that all of our opinions must be in-line with someone else's. If that's the case please tell me and I will leave promptly. I do hope to cause something though. I dare anyone to try and debate that homosexuality or homosexual marriage is wrong. I plan to attack and destroy that argument with extreme prejudice and lay its poor, disfigured corpse bare for all to see. I will, of course, take a logical approach. No cursing, no trolling, nothing.

But this does bring me to another subject: Why are black people so conservative in thought? How many blacks have I known to scorn Dickens in lieu of Angelo simply because Dickens was white? Why is it wrong to enjoy mainstream American culture too? What's wrong with non-black literature and culture? Shouldn't we all be allowed to enjoy the fleeting smogasboard of culture while we can? The world will be completely Westernized soon.

Your response has nothing to do with the reason you seem to be trolling. There are 2-3 semi current subject about the matter and you've decided to start another, you know it controversial and your itching for a fight, which is a trollish behavior in itself.

Religous folks are doing this. Because they have lost focus, on whats really important. HUMANITY toward all human beings. I say let GAWD handle his business, as far as whats acceptable, or not, and we do us!!
