It seems as if black women are scaring away the few remaining black men with their bad attitudes. Not to mention being difficult and high maintenance. NOT ALL black women are this way, thank goodness.

You better had cleaned that up in the end. :) I'm in no mood for that shyt today. :)

I wonder, too. Why has Black - White dating become such a focus with in the media? Others do it at far higher percentages that we do. Yet the media isn't constantly bickering about Hispanic- White or Asian - White interaction when they occur at a far higher rate.

"According to a New York Times Census analysis of results."
Just as I thought. Right-wing newspaper once again picking up the poison pen about black people. Sign. Sometimes one just has to look at the source. I don't have to wonder about WHERE the data for this report came from.
" In 2005, 51 percent of women said they were living without a husband, up from 35 percent in 1950 and 49 percent in 2000."
I guess I'm wondering WHERE are the stats for the droves of sistas that are living with an s/o, more commonly referred to as common-law MARRIAGE after cohabitation from a long-term standpoint?
It's either one--or the other. Sheesh!

I'm not worried about this, it's in the Lord's hands. I'll do my part and what happens...happens!

There are other factors to consider here. I really would like to post this bio (women) piece I found, but I already made a small deal out of a big subject here once before...

Yes. I've read too many slanted and inferenced articles James.

Doesn't that confirm what MrAtlanta said. Same outcome with the Brazillian women discussion!! That is just the problem, if negative points are highlighted people always seem to get up on their high horses and rant and rave instead of focusing to see if there really is a problem, and try to resolve it.
If this is not done, then there will always be a problem. :whistling

Dear Sister Corals---agreed...I was attempting to be ironic. We must focus on actual "issues" and seek positive solutions...hopefully without rampant generalizations.
And one of my first priorities is compassionate and powerful work intended to support and nurture our People.
(I'd use the "hug" smilie here but it's a little too touchy-feely...so just imagine a sisterly hug sent your way :) ).
