Matchmaking - Do you mind?

Do you mind if your friends, family members, co-workers introduce you to members of the opposite sex?

I introduced my girlfriend from college to my cousin who was 10 years older than both of us both and they will be celebrating their 25th Wedding anniversary next month.

I think we all know people looking for that special someone. My rule is to never take it personal if it does not work out between the two of them.

Well, I'd mind alot. Seein' as how I'm currently (and hopefully forever) and happily involved with someone very very special n' dear to me.

Naw, I don't like it. I'll handle my love life. I hate for anyone to get involved. I also don't set people up cuz I'd hate to have to hurt someone's feelings for coming at me wrong if it doesn't work out and it get's nasty between the 2 parties. I've seen that happen when someone was unhappy with the relationship, they turned on the matchmaker.

No, I don't mind at all if someone introduces me, but don't try to play match maker or try to edge on a relationship. Just a casual introduction and leave it at that.

I follow this same advice as well. I have been asked by friend guys to set them up with some of my friend girls. I tell them I will only introduce the two of you, not giving any personal information outside of names. Any and all information exchanged will be done so by the parties involved.

I do not like match making AT ALLLLLL. But sure introduce me to the opposite sex, but don't expect that the person will be the right one

Nope, dont do matchmaking. Not that I could now anyways

I don't mind meeting someone my friend would think I'd like. I'm definitely not one to try to hook somebody up with a friend of mine though.

I enjoy meeting new people whether it ends up in a romantic liaison or a new friendship. You just never know.

I don't mind meeting other people, but as far as dating goes, I don't want to be set up. I don't like the feeling of not having control of who it is I'm with, and not everyone I know has an idea of what type of guy I want.

i set up my friend wit the man she is with now they have been together for 9 years now and as the years go by i am glad that i put my match makins skills to work they are happy as ever
now i need some one to do the same for me
