I visited Brazil 3 times back in the 80's while I was in the Navy. It's a beautiful country with beautiful people. There are plenty of Black Brazilians living there and unfortunatley they suffer some of the same things we do here in the US. Brazil is a poor country and you can easily get mugged in Rio. I personally don't have any problems with anyone that wants to go down there for whatever reason because that's their choice to do so.

There is a certain element that presents itself around military bases. During my time in the navy I’ve seen this in every port except Hong Kong and the reason for that is they don’t like Americans period.

They exclude us by making a lot of their establishments “members only”. Also the average man will follow the path of least resistance. There is no way men that are stuck aboard ship for long periods of time is going to hit the beach and waste it on American women that are playing hard to get.

These women know why these men are there and they give them that. American women I’ve seen wants to play that “all he wants it the draws” game and I’m sorry if the truth hurts but men are not playing it. Especially if the are in a port only a few days.

In africa the women we dated was just as respectable as you, the had jobs and family, they got off work met us and we all partied and enjoyed ourselves. Just b\c they don’t play the waiting game don’t make them a whore.

Perhaps it does underscore your perception of the term has game. Make no mistake brother a unflashy, unpretensous brotha can and does have it. One that had it and i will write about him soon had it game, aura whatever you want to call it to the tenth power and he was in his 65th year of marriage,and in his nineties of life.

This is not that big a deal about an assessment of the term "game" or no game,but i am a gemini an will play the role of putting down some points for an argument. :)

Now then, the clearest most concise point in a young brother old brother having game is his woman has without a shadow of a doubt complete trust and love and respect for him. He is and will always be true to himself and in this case the woman he chooses just like i said the first time.

Sumry, You are as right on as can be. Getting abroad coochie is the inthing for brotha's with no game,or can't hang with a real woman.

You are as wrong as can be. There are plenty of brothas that are very confident and have an abundance of self-esteem that can and do pull the same kind of woman herein America. (Not to brag but I’m one of them) The only difference is overseas they don’t have to put up with the games American women play.

And the same can be said about men with your point of view. It can also be said that men that do this represent the man that you want to be but can’t because you lack what it takes to get these kind of women. From my experience, you still have to be interesting and be able to hold a conversation.

The article is just a broad view of the situation. And to be honest unless you have been to these places and experienced it you really can speak intelligent on the matter but rather speculate. Even in Seychelles Africa where (at the time I was over there) they speak a mixture of French and Cajun you still had to have some play.

Now I’m going to assume that you never been in the military yourself but have lived around them, So you never been to PI or Cape Town, but if you had I know what you would be doing every spare minute of your time. I’ve seen it too many times to think otherwise.

Guys come aboard ship with their American values and lose them in the first port they hit where they woman they only dream about getting is there for the asking.

But you know...it seems to me that some of the male's responses on this commentary FAIL to recognize that the "games that they perceive American women as playing," may not, in fact, be a game at all. For some "American" women DO have have dignity, self-respect and moral values. Not discounting women abroad, BUT if I am understanding the stance of some of these males? For example, men that have docked, and then coming off to "stretch their legs" and EXPECTING to get a shot of arse when they get a 24? (freedom) Please! This is akin to having a, "jacket thrown on branding a specific LOCALE/women as a city of whoredom" because, "they hit where the women they only dream about getting is there for the asking."

I have listened to a few friends and some coworkers and I was shocked at what was happening on these cruises, and trips to the islands, Brazil and South America. SOme of the sisters are indulging in just as much sex as the men. Very shocking to me. The mentality amongst these women is we can do exactly what the men do.

Funny last night I watched Eddie Murphy's Raw and the part about men letting their women go to the islands and she meets Dex. Oh that was hilarious.
