The reason you don't see everyone's gender is because they have to login. Once they login, they will have to set their gender. They will not be able to use any features until they update their profile.

Age and Gender are now mandatory to ensure Adults only are here and it makes it easier to enforce gender rules for male and female specific forums.

Besides, I think it's good to know the sex of who's posting what.

From my understanding this thread Love & Relationship is still for both genders to access. I guess by adding the gender system it will clear up further discrepancies that have been occurring.
