Man, I don't know what to say here. Um...everytime I go to anyone's party or get together, my homegirls and I are always whining about how many females there are for every male present. I didn't think it was the other way around.
Personally, I think that when you can't find someone, you whine. Whether you're male or female. Period. Just up your game, work on yourself, continue or start loving yourself, and others will recognize that as well. If not, oh well. Simply know that at this moment you are continuously at your best. Hope everything works out for you.

This would probably be sad, if it wasnt so funny. I think he focuses on his height more than any woman would. It still doesnt make sense to attack black women because of your complex about your 'stature'.

Doesn't sound like he is looking for a Black woman to me. Just trying to make excuses. :whistling

"...the "shortage" game is just something played by people who want to date IR and feel they need an excuse."
You hit the nail on the head! I agree. "Man up, grow some balls AND don't hide behind the so-called short-comings of sistas as an excuse." James, well stated.
[ B]"...A successful brother {BLACK WOMAN] is going to want a certain level of class, education, and sophistication in a mate. S/he is not going to want someone who is content to live day to day or who has two, three, four or five children by just as many women/fathers. With money and success a wo/man will behave in such a way that s/he is not going to be compatible with everybody that s/he meets.
See how this work BOTH ways? Get outta here! lmbo!
Many black MEN/women refuse to take care of themselves which is clearly evident as you see so many brothers who are grossly overweight, fixated with thug-style images, unbecoming attire and are actually boastful of gangsta, thuggy lifestyles and behavior. Today’s successful black WOMEN/males are looking for EVOLVED MEN/women to help them grow so they can be the best they can be. S/ he needs a MAN/woman who will be a helpmate, not a hindrance, or worse, unproductive.
This writer's illustrations "mirror" the very "alas's" that many black WOMEN are stating.
"...he needs a strong positive woman. Unfortunately, there is a number of black women who cannot be this to him."
REVISED: She needs a strong, postive MAN. Unfortunately, there are a number of black "males" that cannot be this to HER.
"Revisions," free of charge. lol...

Agreed. Individuals that claim, "a shortage" may want to stop and take a look in the mirror. :whistling

DBlack, you are the founder, so I guess this is for you
You obviously do not think that the issue regarding small statured males is serious, yet you will not provide facts as to why you think this is so. If there was a post on women(in general) not being treated equally in the workplace, I bet you would think that was serious. Why, b/c women say so and there are stats to prove it. Well, guess what, there are stats and to prove my points and testimonies from small statured males. It is very funny, all my life the same people got on me for being short (5 foot 1) want me stay "black and true". How can I feel connected to my people when a number of them (mainly female) will not even acknowledge me when I say "hello", ignore me, make me the butt of all jokes, and many other things which I could fill a novel with. It is difficult, but I try daily. Many people on this site read my points on this issue and say "nuts!", but do not state facts as to why. Believe it or not, this is a rising issue, today's society knows racism, tomorrow's society will know heightism. This is a real issue sir and my experiences are fact, and within many of my posts regarding this issue I provide many sources which back up my point. Type 'short men' into google and you will eventually come across sources which validate and explain thoroughly this issue. Why is the average high of a Fortune 100 CEOs 6 foot 3? As far as a short man complex, there is none, not when a great deal of tall men display the exact same characteristics. A short man with a sports car and lots of money is labeled as "trying to make up for something", yet many big football players have lots of money and too many sports cars to count. They say short men are power hungry, yet who are our leaders and how tall are they usually (usually taller than average men). I hope you all have fun and continue to have this great place in cyberspace. I hope I have not upset anyone in here if so let me take this time to apologize. All the good things that I did learn from here I will take with me, for there is always room for more in my bag. But I just feel as if I am too different (with the exception of Uglyman) from the rest of you, so different I believe I am better off somewhere else and not bothering you all. Please disable my account, any way you can, and then erase me from your memory, waste not single nueron more on me...It is hard being a black male, and 5 foot 1 in a westernized society...NOLE (by the time someone reads this I will be a long way from here, so do not think of responses for me to read...)

seminoleBACP, slow your roll fella! You put up a contraversial thread and then split? What gives? Stick by your guns wrong, right or whatever,if they me that much to you.
Can you explain yourself in an articulate manner? I would give you one good piece of advice, and i hope you take it. Pray brother! Pray for that sister out their that likes, and would love you for you. Once, you have a heartfelt prayer the lord delivers brother, but it's on his time not yours. You could be using this time to get you together. We all can be better right?
Suck it up and stand tall, and a dream of a black woman will come into your life,if your not playing and you know what i'm saying.

Wow! Come on Seminole, the only person concerned about your height is you! I don't think anyone on this board or this planet is perfect, so you're really not that different from anyone else.
You are not going to find any woman that will accept or love you until you accept and love yourself man.

If I was offensive, please accept my apologies. But I am treating you as I would any of my homies. You are a grown man, and a man, regardless of his wallet size, weight or physical height. There are so many great black men that are short, that I don't even know where to begin. To run off a few, there's Warrick Dun of the Atlanta Falcons, Morris Chestnut (whatever his name is)-Actor, Spike Lee-film producer, Usher-entertainer, Eddie Murphy-actor, Dave Chapelle-comedian, Richard Pryor-comedian There are literally millions of short black men, so brother, get it together.
Yes, I guess I lashed out at you, but that's because I loathe unjustified attacks on my sistahs. And I would do it again, if someone else were guilty of the same.
Stop making others your scapegoat. I don't need a website of proof, all I have to do is look around; there are short black men of power, wealth, fame and fortune everywhere.
And you, if you really wanted to, could be another one of them. Don't expect me to contribute to your self-imposed low esteem by agreeing with you. Instead, I'd rather give you tough love; a bitter, but empowering dose of reality. Stand up and take your rightful place on the throne. If you do that, the women will follow.

Not your height, it's your attitude
I agree with Gorilla: No shortage of hilarious ways people recycle this old topic. That was my first thought when I saw the post. I didn't read it thoroughly, just scanned it as I already knew it would be a negative regurgitation of some of his past posts.
It's really not your height, it's your attitude. I've never had a problem with anyone because of his height and have dated more shorter men than tall, even married one! If you hadn't said so many times that you're short and how it affects you, I doubt that anyone here would've known you were short.
I've never participated in any of your posts because it appears you really, REALLY, REALLY don't like Black women and I try to refrain from any kind of discussion that borders on hatred and disrespect of others. Women are scared off by negativity, harshness, a mean spirit and disrespect, not by a person's height!
DBlack, Robbboy, Jamesfromphilly, and all the other men in this community who always uphold the Black woman, I applaud you and thank you for speaking up for your Black women. I love my Black people, always have and always will, and that's the bottom line.
