Secret Lover
If someone had a sexual encounter with another person of the same sex only one time in their life, are they to be classified as being bisexual?

That is funny when you think about it.
But what if they never do it again after the "initiation" (3rd time)? Would they be considered bisexual? And let's say somebody who practiced it for many years stops, would they still be classified as being bisexual?

When I first read this question, I didn't understand what difference it made, but then I remembered a person say that they just like cuddling next to someone of the same sex, and they classify themself as being homosexual.

Zorro, those are some interesting questions that you presented to James. However, I am still curious about the positions( anally, orally) that are engaged in during these bi encounters.
Also, its interesting how you brought up the subject about desiring to be cuddled by the same sex. Certainly, if some continually has these desires and is involved in a hetero relationship then, I would say they were bi. But, if the individual is seeing the same sex person exclusive then, perhaps they could be involved in a homosexual relationship.
More or less, if the person is bi, they need to be honest with their heterosexual partner, stop deceiving them. In this time of AIDS, there's no sense in playing games b/c life is to short. You may as well be true to yourself. Now, if their hetero partner doesn't accept their lifestyle then, they should respect their view and seperate from them and find someone who will be more understanding of thier lifestyle.

I see your question as a valid one, that's why I mentioned the cuddle situation. I'm reasoning that if the person classifies themself as being homosexual when all they do is cuddle, then I guess that if they were to "cuddle" with the opposite sex they would classify themself as being bisexual. And if they consider the cuddle as a "position," that would validate your question as being a very reasonable one.
And thank you.

More or less, what this individual needs to is be honest with him relf and whoever he is involved with and that's the bottom line. Now, if he's bi then, he needs to be honest with his hetero partner. Now,if the herteo partner dosen't accept his lifestyle then, he needs to terminate ties and move on to someone that will be more tolerate of his lifestyle. What do you think Zorro?

If you're referring to the cuddle situation, it's my understanding that that person only "cuddles" with the same sex.

Zorro, I see you are purposely avoding the issue about the person who is bisexual that needs to be honest with their heterosexual partner. I am still waiting for you to address this issue.
