I am Anni and would like to have black girfriends so i could learn and underestand , I am white but having a husband that likes black women sometimes it scares me but as long as i know the african american culture i do not know how ro deal with it ,

I had to do a double take when I read this. What is there to understand and what are you afraid of? You better break out that cookbook girl. I'll try to get this one more time. You've got a hubby that likes black women.. ok so is he black because if so, his mommy and daddy might be black too!! and it scares you, but as long as you know the "African Culture", you don't know how to deal with what??..Would you mind rephrasing that please

If I follow her correctly, she's saying that she's a white woman with a white husband who is prone to "jungle fever" but she's afraid that some sistah will take him away from her, so she feels the need to absorb some black culture over an internet message board in order to compete. I think my translation is right on point. If so, it's the weirdest post I've seen on this board yet, or she's a troll.

This is not a zoo, acquarium or museum. We are not on display here for whites to use in their lab expirements for 'knowledge and understanding', or peer through the bars, captivated in wonderment.

If you really want black friends, you would have had them by now. It's not like you need some special skills or connections to get them; we are everywhere living our lives as you white folk do. Having friends because you man likes them is well...fullofissues!

If your man desires another woman rather than you, that suggests problems that I am certainly not qualified to help you face and deal with.

Anni...sweetie I'm sorry to tell you, but no matter how many black girlfriends you seek out, you willl NEVER understand us! I suggest you take another route or get out of the relationship if your man wants to be with other women.

hey guys , Thanks a lot for your reply and comments , Yes i am not an english speaker , I am french woman and yes my husband is white too , I was just wondering why i dont have black girlfriends, i do like the music i have lived in jamaica and do have a very high respect for black culture , i just thought that maybe i would learn more and there so share with my husband and maybe who knows both enjoy the same kind of friends, yes he dated black women before but i am sorry to say they all try to get advantage maybe thats why i am kind of worry but fact is your reply made me think lot , Sorry once againg and big hug
