My obligation to know the cost

I wonder just how many of us actually know or even care about whats going on and what it actually costs. I can honestly say that not a day goes without knowing just how many we have lost in Iraq and I give thanks to Lou Dobbs and CNN for reports and updates on a daily basis that keep me in the know.

Not that I dont mind doing my own homework, its a shame that we can turn on CNN or any other news channels and get the daily stat updates on the millions lost you speak of and the continuing struggle.

Right there is something seriously wrong with the state of the world when they can let this continue.

The world see that this is wrong but instead of stopping it many countries are standing in line for a hand out

Which is what so easily leads me to conclude that most of the world either doesnt know why we're here and what we should be doing or most dont care. I dont know which is worse.

I think it is equally bad, if you don't know that means the knowledge isn't being passed along keeping the world in the dark.

And not caring means you have no moral fiber in your soul.

Sad nation we live in something needs to be done but how many will.

In a dark world where the necessary knowledge is stagnant, people also refuse to open up their hearts and minds depriving themselves of receiving and/or what comes to us naturally. This equates to one thing in my eyes...no light + no love = no life.

Believing that the majority of people can and will take action....just a wish and a prayer. One of the problems that will always hinder honest efforts to make things change is that the majority of us arent "connected" with those who have the ability to make things happen. As long as money rules the world we will remain without a voice unless there is a much needed realization on a national, no global level and people learn to unite, grab the reigns and take the control away from those who do nothing positive with the power.

What must happen is another 9/11.....

Tragedy sadly is what will unite the people. Lets say Obama become president and gets killed by the KKK, many people would unite on a fight against racism.
A nuke is dropped on the US by the US people would stand and fight the govt if the truth is revealed that it was a testing of a bomb and we were the test subjects.
Something big needs to unite the people under a vision that the only hope is fight back.....because they plan to kill you anyway so would you rather die in submission or die fighting back.

Well the situation is just that, for the most part we people of color are wanted DEAD! The signs are there in Africa, Haiti, and right here in Amerikkka. People still will look at the things I am saying as crazy or paranoid when if you look at it all you can't escape that this is the truth.
Once this is seen by us then so much can happen. Yes this is going on greatly over sea's but that is one way to keep the locals at ease........IT IS SO FAR AWAY AND IT WON'T HAPPEN TO US!

I'm more interested in the lives of the people living there we've destroyed and disrupted.
