Listen young brother...I think that you miss the picture here...I spent 24 months in Viet Nam long before you were a twinkle in your mother's eye...what you need to understand is that we are not, nor will we ever be able to beat our enemy at their own game. We are the seed of an inteligent people...a people filled with the wisdom of God. We are much smarter and wiser than they. Our problem is we don't know that. So we respond to them with everything that they have "taught" us. This is the kind of thinking that will continue to hold us back. There is a much better way, and our people need all of our men to stand, but we all need to be alive in order to do that...I thank you for your welcome message, but I ask that you really think about your comment...especially your reference to that one word, and I'm sure that you know where I'm coming from...our people need your fire...but you need our wisdom, together we can live.

You've posted but 2 msg's here on AC n' have really grabbed my attention n' interest. Needless to say that's not such an easy task to accomplish.

That "one word" has been the subject of much debate as of late here on AC. My position on it's continued use/meaning is very concrete, search the forums. I'm not tryin' to be dismissive or anything but it has been run into the ground n' I think we should turn our attention to other issues. Besides, my signature is a direct quote.

I agree I need your wisdom, I want your wisdom but I can't let my fire die out in the pursuit of that wisdom. My fire is not a destructive or untamed force, it's an idle one that will only flare if fuel is added.

You look at all these police shootings n' killings...b/c they thought this...b/c they "saw" that...and then we end up dead. No guns found...no shots fired on our end.. My message simply implies that if you shall find me on the news in the same situation they will find guns...and they will need more than one body bag.

Now you're talking my young brother...I don't want your fire to die, I want to see it burn the right way, and that's why I responded the way that I did. I came out of a generartion that raised a little sand against this country. Many of the things that we did, actually effected change in this nation. Nothing violent worked...what did work was oneness and unity. That could not be defended...our problem was that we allowed our fire to be extinguished, and there was not enough of us left to continue the work, so the movement fizzled. What I do want you and all of our young people to know is that there are some of us that have been out of the loop that is the struggled for a while...and for that I do apologize, because I believe if we would have continued the fight, we wouldn't have lost so many of our young men to the streets and the grave. I can only speak for me...I've been gone, but I am back and I'm ready to fight. When I was in Marine Corps Boot Camp back in 1968, we had drill instructors. They no longer went our into the field of battle, but taught us how to fight...and we were taught well and we fought well...are you feeling me. I'm in Pittsburgh, but our battle is nationwide, If there is anything I can do to help, even from here...feel free alright?
