It worked for me and I have suffered with razor bumps forever. It is very expensive though. I don't even have to use it no more.
I tried Carol's Daughter products. (Foxhill Mall for my LA Cats)
Men’s Grooming Ritual - Men - Carol's Daughter
It didn't work for me.

ok i looked them up online yesterday and found out about their website. i think i'll try them. i'm thinking about placing an order this weekend if i have time. i'll be pretty busy for the long weekend and i'm going out of town. it looks like their product is made especially for black men. i'm just assuming since on their website, the black guy is in the middle. hehehe. i don't think they're available at target.
i really need something that works well with sensitive skin. i've been using proraso for 2 years now and i can't see much progress.

When I was in the military we treated a lot of men for Pseudofolliculitis barbae. It's very common among black men. We always prescribed Magic Shave. Like someone mentioned it stinks but it worked. I don't know if there is a better scented formula now but we had great success with it.

i remember dating a brother whose had this on his face. i didn't know what that was. it looked so qross. and then he had the nerve to rub my face on with his face. it felt like a damn scrub board. i never want to experience that again. so please brothers, keep your face healthy. do whateva by means necessary to keep the face looking good.

yes it is indeed common among black men. our hair must be really that stubborn, strong and curly, lol. i've never tried magic shave before. i'm still looking for good alternatives online.
my problem could be due to technique. i usually go against the grain but it would be nice to use something that prevents those ingrown hairs and bumps.

Uh uh, nobody ever taught me how to shave and I used to go against the grain. It used to mess my face up. Another guy in the army suggested that I just wet my face with cold water and then shave with a cheap razor going over my skin just once. It works for me!!! Although, I have to do it everyday or my face will turn into bump-city.
