Marcus Vick

I know you have already heard and saw Marcus Vick in the following video http://media.putfile.com/VT-THUG-1 . I have heard about it but never saw the video until a lil while ago. I don't even think he should be allowed to come into the NFL for a couple of years. He's too immature.

What do yall think about the whole situation?

I agree, Soulbrotha. Since Marcus Vick is from southeastern Virginia (where I live), his latest escapade has made the front page of the local papers and been the leading story on the local news. What he did in the Gator Bowl was inexcusable and was the last straw. He may share the same last name and parents as his famous brother, but, as one of my brothers said so well, nepotism only goes so far.

I'm sure there was something that happened before he made such a stupid move. Out of all the games he's played, it doesn't make sense that he would do that for no reason.

Alot of dirty football is played, we just see very little of it. Alot of dirty retaliations happen too, we just see very little of it. Nonetheless, Vick dishonored his name by his actions and I think he let the frustration of being a hunted running quarterback get to him.

He got caught and it was wrong, but I think that kicking him off the team was way over the top. He should have gotten a personal foul call or better yet, ejected from the game, but that's it. Those whiteys in VA started raising hell I bet, resulting in him getting booted.

But it's to his benefit, strangely enough because he will enter the NFL draft next year (2nd round), and Va Tech will suck next year without him.

D I been on Marcus' side through all the ordeals, rooting for him to succeed but the buck stops here. What he did was messed up and I'm surprised he didn't get his *** whooped for it 'cuz had he stepped on my legs.... Anyway, I don't care what may have precipitated it, stepping on another player's legs is to me the same as spitting in someone's face, it's just a line you don't cross. If ya'll got beef handle it, but no dirty ish. That's messing with someone's lively hood, like slamming the piano lid down on the fingers of a piano player. Vick was dead wrong for that and he deserved to be kicked off the team. I say let his *** in the NFL. Maybe his brother can help him mature some. Maybe this whole experience will be the beginning of that much needed growing up period. Or maybe he'll step on someone else's legs and get the snot beat out of him. Or maybe someone will step on his and he finally figure out how serious the stuff can be.

I feel ya, you got some good points. Again kicking someone off the team for something like that is way overkill. If you did that to every player in the college and pros, the teams would be decimated. Players give cheapshots all the time. It's not right, but we never know what happened that was not on camera.

But I will agree with VT's decision to remove him as I have learned in this article and from listening to a sports radiio show this morning that he was warned many times by coaching staff and was given chances. I also learned that the latest infraction with the law Friday is what broke the camels back.

VT has always been hostile to both Vicks and frankly, I am glad to see him go pro.

I still admire the Vicks for they will be making NFL history as the only QB brothers to play in the NFL at the same time.

Yelp, like I said in my initial post, he should be not allowed in the NFL for a while. I wouldn't want him on my team.
