GodFatha, come on, what are you talking about? I'm not even an Eagles fan, but I am a fan of all the brothas that actually play and represent on that team. Do you even watch football? If you did, you couldn't even tell that lie that "The Eagles Suck". In the last 3 years they made it to the NFC conference championship (only 2/16 per conference get there), and last year they made it to the Superbowl, but lost (only 2/32 teams get there). If you make it that far, you don't suck!
I'm not even going to go into all their statistics, because they only further solidify the point. McNabb is Everything to the Eagles. T.O. could have been just as important, but he destroyed that on his own.
put away the flamethrower and try to be a little objective....just a little!?!?

The mere suggestion that McNabb is selling out because he does not run is completely ignorant. First of all McNabb was playing the same way he has over the last few seasons until he got hurt. The only difference is the teams record. Since they are struggling typical Philly fan starts bugging out. So I suppose that Warren Moon was a sellout because he did not run? Doug Williams was a pocket passer too. Is he a sellout? When has a running QB ever won a superbowl? Never! Steve Young was a running QB but he did not win a Superbowl until he learned to master the pocket.
These comments about McNabb are ignorant and more to the point wrong! To suggest that all Black QB's must run in order to be succesful is no different than a White person saying that Blacks can't play QB because they run. It is ridiculous. By this rational do all brothers who play hoop have to dunk? Was Reggie Miller a sellout because he did not have a crossover dribble? Was he selling out because he did not play above the rim? No. This is just stupid and the NAACP should have other things to do than get involved in this kind of stupid discussion.
The NAACP is a joke! They have been for a long time. |
