Let's just bring it alllllllllllllllllll to the forefront right here. Kobe knows it's CHEAPER TO KEEP HER right now so whatever Vanessa wants wants, Vanessa gets, Whatever she says, it's bible right about now until this dies down some more, maybe next year or so, and then Kobe will grow his balls back and see her for what she really is. I wouldn't be suprised if she comes out in a scandal, but women are slicker with theirs so I'm sure she is covering up everything that she is doing including starting this confrontation, maybe because homey didn't respond the way, SHE WANTED HIM TO:, or for some reason, Kobe got her thinking that the whole world shines on her right now. Kobe trying to keep some money in his pocket so he doing every and anything to make her happy. Even if it means destroying his career publically because no noone takes him seriously. It's a shame, but it's true.

The focus of this drama is on everyone else accept Malone for disrespecting Kobe's marriage in the first place, and Deion for speaking out on Kobe's speaking our about something that's Kobe's business, and not Deion.

Even in this thread, the majority of comments focus on the Kobe, as if Kobe made Malone disrespect him. As if Kobe asked Deion to comment on Kobe's marriage and comments. Yeah, Kobe does have a lot of issues, but why are we giving Malone and Deion a pass on this?

Hey dblack, you know why the focus is on Kobe instead of Malone and Deion? Because Kobe's actions brought the focus on himself. He alone, made this a public issue that people are talking about. I'm quite sure that type of behavior goes on in the sports world all the time but it is Kobe alone, who opens his big mouth and let's the world know about it.

Yes, Malone was a jerk for doing this, and as for Deion, well, since 'KOBE' made this a public issue that evvvvverybody, including us, are talking about, I'm quite sure when they ask Deion about the matter, he was in broadcasting, he simply responded to it, like everybody else.

Bottom line, Kobe alone, needs to get his house in order and learn how to handle these matters without bringing public attention to it.

I know this reply is Soooo late, but after reading all of the responses to this situation, I just had to come in and correct a small fact. Kobe wasn't the person who brought this situation to the media. It was Karl Malone's agent. He gave an interview to a well known sports reporter here in L.A. named TJ Simers. He had informed Mr. Simers that Karl Malone wouldn't be coming back to L.A. to play because there was a situation between him a Kobe. TJ continued to pry and Malone's agent finally admitted to him what had gone down. A coupleof days later, Kobe was questioned about it in an interview, to which he first avoided the question, but then asked again, he admitted to what had happened.

While I will admit that Kobe has made some stupid mistakes, he has not done anything any worse than a lot of athletes have in the past, except get caught. All of these paternity suits and outside children is proof of that. To me the media will put a spin on every little thing to try and sway public opinion. They have made Shaq(I like Shaq) out to be the saint in this whole situation, when wow, he has done some real dirt...real nasty dirt. A lot of folks know about Shaq, especially the folks here in L.A. and in Texas; but ummm I digress.

I find it funny how Shaq is free to constantly take little jabs at Kobe every chance he gets like a scorned woman, but if Kobe says anything he's talking too much. If Allen Iverson scores 60 points in a game, he's incredible, but if Kobe scores 60 points, he's a ball hog. (Sorry, I didn't mean to bring AI into this, that just crossed my mind. Stepping back to the topic at hand). Yeah, Kobe cheated, got caught..so what! I feel that what the media and public is doing to him is downright hateful, especially since the majority of them are probably cheating or doing something they shouldn't be doing either.

It's easy to kick a person when they're down. The treatment of KB is downright disgusting and hateful. How does one reconcile your humanity when you allow yourself to be so hateful towards another person. He didn't murder anyone, he just made a mistake. Just put yourself in the position to where you've made a mistake (and Lord knows we all have), but people won't allow you to right your wrong and move on? Even when you try to defend yourself (which you have every right to do), how would you feel knowing that people constantly try to destroy your spirit?

Now one thing I will agree on is that Vanessa Bryant is childlike and very immature. (I know this first hand). If she was a real woman, she could have handled the situation between herself and Karl. As a married woman, I have been flirted with on several occasions, but I know how to handle those types of situations without creating drama. Who doesn't flirt? D**n. And another thing you should know also is that Mrs. Bryant isn't entirely innocent when it comes to fidelity either....even before the fact. There's a lot that people don't know, but still choose to offer an opinion, which in turn can't be fair, without all of the facts being laid out. Please don't believe everything you read because most of these media idiots are relying on sources that they will not even name. I've read so many things about Kobe, Shaq and other athletes, that are so far from the truth, it's actually comical. But the sad part about it is that, it serves the purpose of forming opinions. There's no integrity in journalism anymore. It's all about the ratings which equals the money.

Well, I said all of this to say, let the brotha live. He's only 26 years old. You don't have to like Kobe, but d**n, can't a brotha move on, get over and live?

But Deion has skeletons from his past that are shall we say, real gutter, compared to Kobe's. So Deion really should chill on this morality trip. I mean this is the same Deion "Prime Time" Sanders that considered killing himself because his life was so out of control, right, with all of the womanizing, drinking, etc.? Hmmm, if anything, he should be more understanding and offer youngblood some "born again christian advice."
