T.O. Whines on National Television!
Man, I've never had so much admiration and respect for a single athlete, and lose at such a high rate of speed ever.
Terrel Owens is really trippin now. Last night he was on ESPN with his agent, both of them acting like a bunch of teenagers, bickering about 'he told me to shut up', 'I Don't have to speak to the coach or quarterback', etc....
Now, I understand that T.O. is not getting paid in the top ten salaries for pro wide receiveers, but those other receivers don't come with the 'drama' baggage that T.O. brought from San Francisco. That's why they even have sitpulations in TO's contract that if he engages in activity detrimental to the team, he'll have to repay over half of his signing bonus.
But going on national T.V. crying about a job in which you make 7 million a year, disrepsecting your coaching and players...that's ill!
When asked 'how he and McNabb could be productive in this environment, he responded negatively and doubtful that they could be.
For me, that did it. But If I was the Eagles, I wouldn't even release him. I would make him sit it out, lose money, lose worth, and ultimately respect from his peers, fans and future NFL teams.
Comon TO, aren't you going about this the wrong way?
Here's some ESPN links on the drama.

I don't mind that he did cry about they money issue, because he is a good player and is deserving. The fact that he took the issue into pre-season and is not speaking to any of his teammates is childish. Hell what did McNabb do to deserve being treated that way? T.O. was my boy. I got his jersey and everything, but now he is an embarrassment.

T.O. is a little baby who is shocked he didn't get his way and doesn't know how to handle it. He is dead wrong on this 1. He signed that contract even though his former agent and the players union advised against it.
He got his way and did not have to go to Baltimore (He didn't want to go becuase Ray Lewis would have bust that ***.) He signed that contract to make that happen and now he wants Phily to fix his mistake.
No T.O you brought this on yourself. Man up and play ball.

I have always been a fan of TO but this time he is showing himself to be a true slave. I saw the interview with the agent and TO and it was appalling to see this puppet strings be pulled by his agent. He is showing himself to be the cancer the people from San Fran and other places have said he was. I too want him out of Philly, I live in MD and am now soooo glad he did not come to the Ravens. I overstand that the media is following him all over the place and overblowing this but he has some control over that. The working out in the yard was sickening to me. I am just tired of this brother.

Limbaugh wants to reconcile T.O., McNabb
'I am here to offer and to assist,' radio talk show host says
This time, Rush Limbaugh wants to help Donovan McNabb, not criticize him.
Limbaugh, who once said the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was overrated because the media wanted to see a black quarterback succeed, wants to help McNabb and wide receiver Terrell Owens settle their differences on his radio show.
“I am here to offer and to assist. I can,” Limbaugh said on his nationally syndicated radio show Friday, according to a transcript on his Web site. “I could bring these two guys together. I’ve been there, folks, and I could do this, and I’m serious in my desire to do it.”
Owens has been unhappy with the Eagles over his contract and took some of his frustration out at McNabb, calling the quarterback a hypocrite and saying the two of them could not be successful together.
McNabb insisted he wasn’t stung by the criticism, laughing off the outrageous receiver’s remarks before turning serious and telling Owens to “keep my name out of your mouth.”
Limbaugh resigned from ESPN nearly two years ago after sparking outrage by saying on a pregame show that he didn’t think McNabb was as good as perceived from the start.
“I think what we’ve had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well,” Limbaugh said on “Sunday NFL Countdown.”
Now Limbaugh wants to help mediate, inviting both Eagles to appear on his show.
“This rift cannot be allowed to continue, ladies and gentlemen. It just can’t, and I would like to offer this program as a means of getting these two Americans and star players back together,” Limbaugh said. “They may not want to talk to each other face-to-face, but perhaps they would join me on this program and speak to each other telephonically via this program and settle this.”

I never liked Limbaugh but maybe he can do something worthwhile in this situation.

Are you high? What makes you think a right wing bullshit drug addict like Rush Limbaugh could fix this ****?
And why should Mcnabb even participate? You apparently don't watch much football to say that crazy dung. And you apparently don't listen to Rush Limbaugh either, do you? Didn't think so.
Rush Limbaugh is right where is is supposed to be: fired from mainstream sports media, sittin on his bigoted fat *** making sure the ignorant white crackers in the world have plenty of reason to hate and vote republican.
CharlieKiloThree, you cannot be serious.
TO is the problem. The man said he can't work with the Philly coach AND Mcnabb. He is damaged goods, and might as well forget about a new contract with anyone in the NFL even close to what he is getting right now.
