I don't usually get into football until Superbowl time. I try to get the feel of it beforehand, but that inch, yard, flag, 1 and 4 (whatever)... all that stuff confuses me. All I know is to hope the person with the ball gets to the other side and then have the other guy kick the ball into the Y. smh

That's....very interesting. I'm attempted to type "lol" but it's too early in the morning.

I love football. It's the most technological of sports. It's like wargames; the amount of strategy involved is what makes it so interesting.

What?? Tell me that was not a good description.

I've had it all explained to me before, but it only stays with me for about 10 minutes before I forget it all again.

I stopped rooting for any team, although while I lived in DC the Redskins were my team. Now-a-days the teams change rosters so much that its hard to pick a team or players to follow and stick with. Players are now more interested in making evevry dollar they can make than in winning a championship, or just winning. They just want to play and get paid. That's why guys on the superbowl team, or on teams that won their division jump to a losing team ..... don't make sense to me, especially when the salary difference in many cases amounts to a small increase after taxes and agent's fees are deducted ... and the dumb azzzz is stuck playing for a losing team, like Arizona Cardinals. How can you root for mfs's who don't want to or care about winning???

Kyle Boller is showing signs of maturing into a standout QB, Jamaal Lewis is back, Ray Lewis- excited about the new 46 defense- is leaner and faster, Peter Boulware is back, and Mark Clayton & Derrick Mason will more ably fill the gap at Wide Receiver. As your investment advisor, I urge you to bet the house on the Ravens.
