What are the Lakers thinking?

Anyone who read Phil's Book can see that he was slamming the Lakers and their ownership in his book. The key thing here is Phil's relationship with the Kobe Bryant the star and rather he likes it or not leader of this Lakers team that includes Lamar Odom and Brian Grant to name a few.

Phil is arguably one of the best coaches to ever hit a sideline, but the question is can he put together the right pieces in Los Angeles.

I guess the fact that Phil is dating the daughter of the Lakers owner has nothing to do with him coming back right?

In conclusion Phil is just what the young players on the Lakers need to help develop them into star level players. The rotten apple here is Kobe is starts and finishes with him.

Its Kobe's Team. The Lakers choose to keep Kobe and build a team around him because he is younger then Shaquille O'neal and they couldnt afford to pay both of them the maximum amount of money allowed.

Yes Kobe got Phil fired they weren't getting along at the time and Phil wanted to purse different things at that time.
