Plain and simple juanita likes being Mrs. jeffery Micheal Jordan and she likes the power that she can wail as Mrs. Jordan. Also there is more profit in being Mrs. Jordan than be ing the ex-wife in other words she knew the deal from the word go about mike.

She didn't twist his arm to cancel their Divorce proceedings...He made that National "It's Cheaper To Keep Her"..Announcement....on National TV...

She decided to stay after raising all that hell for a week.

Face it, she wants MORE than half and the only way to get it is to stay Mrs. Jordan. It's no secret MJ wants to own a basketball team. Eventually, somebody is going to sell him one. Juanita is thinking long term. As a business minded person, I can't say I blame her.

As far as her "rightful" share of his earnings, I think that's debatable and is probably food for a different topic.

@ Mr.DBlack... I can only infer and deduce from what all I keep seeing and reading..across cyber boards and real life men...such disparaging statements are made..so yeah,my conclusion in general has grown to be that in general..black men seem to hate and hate-on black women especially when they get to the brass ring. Stratesperic Positions where they actually can make it a reality that a Black couple can reach the "American Dream" together..as a couiple..as a powerful family..from rappers to B-Ball players to Celebs to politicians to the local MD on the corner..to even golf...

Just going by the examples I see from those who "made it"..is all...

Off Topic BUT For the record,I don;t hate Black men,married a beautiful inside.out one..But,I do not want to thread jack this topic..and will respectfully save the rest of my POV runnin' through my head to my fingertips..But Hatred?? Naw, Hatred has nothing to do with it..I am not a staunch praticer or believer in misandry...not me..but I do get dissappointed in the disparity between how we judge men with Black wives vs. Black men with white wives..I seriously doubt anyone would be judging her if she were Non-Black wifey..nobody questions why Vanessa stays or Jason Kidds wife stayed after he allegedly beat the hail out of her...why is Juanita's staying any proof of an ulterior motive than these chicks...Is all...

Yes,and I'm sure back when they were publically acknowledging their "Divorce" I can only speculate that MB's were heated for a few weeks to come..I didn't do MB's then...but in real life..I heard men call her ever scum name in the book and question "What has she done to earn that "Half" status...hhmm..Studies have shown wife/mommy's are underpaid..and marraige is usually a community property agreement-bond..so by virtue of Wife status..she becomes entitled by some laws some states to half especially if a Pre-Nup doesn't exist..I believe that's right.But,now I am only relying on my Pop Culture and Couch potatoe law degree...lol...

For the record, I think they are all full of crap, but this thread was about MJ, not JKidd or Toby Bryant. Trust, I feel the same way about their wives. They stay because of the STATUS. They accept the abuse so they can keep being the WIFE of a millionaire ball player. If they had any self-respect they'd dip as soon as these guys screwed up, if for no other reason than to prove a point.
