NFL legend Brown says he's offered to help Pacman

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown says he's had several conversations with suspended NFL cornerback Pacman Jones and his agent.

During a visit with Tennessee lawmakers on Thursday to promote his program for troubled teenagers, Brown told The Associated Press he has offered his help concerning any issues with the Dallas Cowboys, the Tennessee Titans and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Jones was traded by the Titans to the Cowboys on Wednesday, but he remains under suspension by the commissioner over his repeated legal troubles.

Brown, who led the NFL in rushing for eight seasons, is the founder of the Amer-I-Can Program, which aims to teach life skills to young people from poor backgrounds.

Interesting, perhaps it should be a mandate for all black male athletes to register with this program. Maybe it could teach them some character.

i heard about pacman in the news. he better get something done. his money is on the line. if mr brown has something to tell him and his agent i suggest that they sit down and listen. i'm pretty sure they'll work something out.
