Report: Golf Channel anchor apologizes for 'lynch' remark

Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman has apologized after saying during Friday's telecast of the PGA Tour's opening event that today's young players should "lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley."
A spokesman for the network said Tilghman apologized on Sunday's telecast and has reached out to Woods' representatives to express her regrets for the comments, according to New York Newsday.
Tilghman, who played college golf at Duke, works as the main play-by-play announcer during The Golf Channel's PGA Tour telecasts.

Oh that, the commentator was probably talking to his caucasian or asian side since he isn't Black, remember. So really, no apology is needed.

What makes it so pitiful, is she made this comment about Tiger...the single reason there even is a Golf Channel at all.

Tiger says, "it's okay because he knows her". At least that is what his people or the people in his camp are saying that this is what he has said on the matter. I say why be surprised by this from him. Tiger runs a mile or even farther away from being black and black issues.

It isn't that remark was so STUPID!
And it is so SCARY?
What it's where that talking head SAID IT!!
But, whatdoyamean no racial divide, white folk?!?
Oh how accursed be the era of Bush 43 when some of everybody (particulary white folk) presumes too much because of who runs the place!
Though kinda sorta a blessing for us (at least to those of us who don't have to say/write 'I told ya so' to folk heavily into denial about what ain't changed at all about those other folk)...
Maybe it's even a wake up call the colored Tiger will heed too!
One can only hope and pray that it will be...

I was slippin on this, just learned about it this morning. a golf magazine came out with a noose on the cover as well, but that person was eventually fired, after Al Sharpton got into it.
A reason why I love Al. Obama and many others had nothing to say...
