An LP is the same as an album. As an member of the Old School, I had to fill you in on what's happening. ;)

That just shows that you're not old!!!

An LP (Long Playing record) ran at 33 1/3 RPM....You can hardly find a turntable outside of a radio station anymore. :whistling

Saraphen, you can still find turntables at places that sell used records or the Goodwill.

But since I am Old School, I still have my recordplayer and my massive collection of Lp's and 45's.

Me too, I have massive of LPs and 45s, and yes, you can pick up a turntable in shops that sells used records.

Recently I was thinking of buying a turntable and the guy in the shops showed me a set up with down decks, microphone and the lot. I had to remind him that I was not planning on becoming a DJ or MC, I just wanted to play my records.

You know I do exaggerate. I actually gave Hubster a brand-new Gramophone for Christmas. It plays 78's, 45's, LP's, and CD's too. :whistling
