Dutch to open electronic files on children
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — The Dutch government plans to open an electronic file on every child at birth as a tool to spot and protect the troubled kids of the future.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2007, all citizens will be tracked from cradle to grave in a single database — including health, education, family and police records — the health ministry said Tuesday.

As a privacy safeguard, no single person or agency will be able to access all contents of a file. But organizations can raise "red flags" in the dossier to caution other agencies about problems, ministry spokesman Jan Brouwer said.

The intention is to protect troubled children, Brouwer said. Until now, schools and police have been unable to communicate with each other about truancy records and criminality, which are often linked.

"Child protection services will say, 'Hey, there's a warning flag from the police. There's another one from school. There's another one from the doctor," Brouwer said. "Something must be going on and it's time to call the parents in for a meeting."

Every child will get a Citizens Service Number, making it easier to keep track of children with problems even when their families move, said Secretary of Health Clemence Ross.

"Safety, guidance, education and supervision are incredibly important for the development of children," Ross said.

All Dutch births are currently registered with local authorities.

This raises some serious privacy concerns. At what point does safety concerns override privacy concerns. A scary thought.

I hear you sistah, in regards to privacy, but it's funny that I just finished reading the post about "Kids and Life Sentences" and it's sad but I'd rather my child miss a little bit of privacy than to miss out on life because he's dead or in jail because he killed or hurt someone.

Before I can say I agree, I'd really have to learn more about it. All that glitters is not gold. If done in the US, not so sure I would trust this governement and its BS patriot act, knowing more about my child, forget that!

Help me out of ignorance; is it true that in Holland there is a "master" computer that holds files on almost every human on this planet?

Note that vaccines, e.g., was another creation "needed for the safety of children."

I cannot confirm or deny that such a "master file" does exist, although it's highly probable. What would really concern me is just who has access to this database. Scary

No problem, it probably will not be widely publicized if there is. Onanother site's forum Im completing a series on Vaccinations. I'll quote a bit here to indicate why I think its already in place. Where Im not sure....

"In 1995 Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Sec'y Donna Shalala laid the groundword for a centralized database that will contain the medical records of every child in the United States. She gave the Social Security Administration the right to reveal the Social Security number of newborn infants to state health department officials for use in their vaccine tracking registry. Shalala's move allows the DHHS to disclose information about individuals without their consent if it is for the purpose of administering a government-run public health program or for medical research.... The plan is to eventually link all of the states into one network. This network will be able to track which parents have or have not vaccinated their children. At least twenty-two states have established or agreed to participate in the registry...each state is eligible for federal grants...they also get monies from pharmaceutical companies, specifically vaccine manufacturers."

The author, Stephanie Cave, states that the goal is to vaccinate the world!!! To aid in this diabolical plan an organization, Children's Vaccine Initiateive (CVI) is funded by the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and the United Nation's Children's Fund (UNICEF). No problem with funding, huh? Also funding's provided by Johnson & Johnson and Merck. Ms Stephanie ends saying if a nat'l registry becomes operational she believes "erode privacy, medical freedom, and the right to self-determination."

Anyway for a global one world rulership to function in today's techie scenarios, a database of the world's population is a must. I'd heard the bit about Holland via Art Bell's late nite talk show a few years ago.

Baba...Greetings!! I remember this information as well about "tracking" in Holland. On the west coast, in the Silicon Valley...retroflect I recall the growing interest in that region of "experimental micro-chips" implanted under the skin as a "tracking device," in, for example, biographical and educational hxs., criminal and credit records. So the article shared here with the AC members comes as no surprise or shock to me.

Hence the term, "Big Brother is always watching." :whistling

Sometimes technology is NOT a good thing. The potential abuse that could result from the type of implementation of technology far outweighs the benefits.

People don't need electronic tags to watch and record their every movement. And the ability to 'flag' people could result in unparallelled levels of discrimination, and profiling.
