Bail denied for only Jena beating suspect in jail

This is infuriating...Pedophiles get less time than this...Yes it's true..they are sending a clear message. The message to blacks is this
" if you intend to change whitey and his laws, his practices, his behavior, you're in for a fight!" So I say, fight it is. I wish I lived in La. I would make myself a part of the local struggle.

Of course it is, although I'm not familiar with Louisiana state law regarding these things, so a bail denial as a result of this kind of juvenile criminal record might be standard, for all I know. The 5 other boys have been bailed out; the only practical reason, legally speaking (I'm surmising), for keeping him in jail and then denying him bail would be related to his priors. It's still excessive, though.

Truly what I believe is they (the so called judicial system in Jena) are going to drag this out as long and as far as they can. It makes for a good history story and this will be a part of history. And they (the whites) know it. They don't want to go down in history as being "too soft" and letting the little "niggra boy" get away to easily for whipping up on one of their kids. I mean how would they explain themselves to other KKK and racist - once they get to hell??? Just my take.

I hate that Mr. Bell had previous offenses and was on probation. This make his case all the harder to deal with.

Yea, I know he was on bail when the fight broke out and all, but if it can be proven that he got violent with that dude in self defense then his probationary status should have no bearing on his sentencing concerning this case. FYI, that's just what I feel is right, because I'm far from a lawyer.

As much as my soul cries to fight this with my hands, I know that to our enemy it's an anticipated battle and we as a unit are vastly unprepared for it.
If you look at these "security" organizations and white militia, these bastyards are waiting for us to cross that line so they can do the same.

What is really sad in all this is that, since he is being tried as an adult, has parents locally in the community, why can't they release him on bail. Has he not been there since last December?

I wholeheartedly agree. We need to do this the right way, and use the power of the law to help do what's right. Turning this into some kind of violent race war probably won't end well for us. But I feel there's no need to take it to that extent to begin with.

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying Shank, While I believe we need to use and press the law for our justice, I don't believe for a second that the law will be our rescue. Rather, what will probably happen is that said law(s) will be somehow changed to accomodate its creator(s) by lifting the stated responsibility (the law) and finding yet another way to exclude and eventually persecute us. The purpose of any law is to control the masses, however, when a dominant part of the masses imagine themselves as distinct from other parts and the former contols the latter, what will happen is up to who controls that law. So to that end, we must one day at least entertain the idea of revolution if we are to survive. A good example is a group of white men placing the addresses of 6 kids on the internet calling for "justice to be done". If they'll openly attack our kids, what else can we do?
While I don't want to fight a war, I'm not fool enough to believe that such a war isn't right inside the minds of the average white man. It's in their manner, speech and dictates of their laws. Its in Jena just as strong as it was in Gretna during the hurricane. However, if you're fool enough to want to fight me, mainly because you think me weak, then allow me to show you the error in your thinking.
Yes, be sure that the white man wants to fight any and all folks of color, because we show him his shortcomings and he has an insane idea that our color is somehow a negative testament of God. Either way we fight-by word or deed-his misshapen idea of right and wrong. So, if I've/We've got to whip his a$$ to get him off my/our butt and to think straight...
