It shows a glaring need for the professionals of particular areas to band together and offer their services so that the stuff happening in the homestate of my mom's folks doesn't continue there or anywhere. Black lawyers (in this case) should be all over this with writs/legislation/petitions/baseball bats that will make this type of obvious abuse of power perpetrated for obviously racist motivations a thing of the past.
However, I get the impression theres a different motivation, almost as if these officials in Jena were trying to incite violence.
Like they're somehow trying to start a fight.
