Patronize? No I don't patronize anything my own people do.

Now to stop reading mainstream newspapers and turning off TV isn't going to help because if our kids where to become writers and journalists they are most likely going to learn from the schools of mainstream media. Whether you like it or not we have to deal with white people and mainstream media, so its not in our advantage not read or watch what they do. If thats the case does that mean we have to prevent our kids from going to white schools and have white teachers too, they don't think the same way Black teachers do.

We need to learn how they operate and teach our kids not to follow some of the things they do. When I watch or read the newspapers I don't do it just to get news and informations about current events but to also learn the different perspectives about certain things. Things like Business, and technology, you need more than one source of information to stay up to date and expand your knowledge about these things.

The problem is more about what decide to take out from what we read or watch rather than what we read and watch. We need to keep learning these people's bad habits and patterns and use them as examples to our kids and people. Remember keep your friend close and your enemy closer.

Ardamus, this is because the Mass Media only likes to high-light US when there is NEGATIVE press. And as black people, we are not monolithic. This same scenario played out with that ignorant arse Don Imus. Negative press and to take the spot-light and heat off of the white boy, the Media's focus was on, "well, the black rappers are guilty of the same thing." One had nothing to do with the other. One is racially motivated and the other is just ignorance at it's best.

Moving on, I could care less about OJ Simpson. It is no accident that he is facing several charges...white Amerikka has been after Simpson since the post "trial of the century." Simpson does not have enough sense to remain under the radar...his arrogance will be his undoing.

This is the "pay-back" that white Amerikka is doing.
