I feel so sorry for this mother and that this kid lost his life, but my first thoughts were... how stupid is this.

The mother of teenage boy who died from injuries he apparently suffered while car surfing said her son's death should be a lesson to other young people.
"Please don't let my son die in vain," said Tonya Rodriguez. "Learn something from his mistake. Think before you act. Don't do these stunts."
Law enforcement authorities said Eric Rodriguez, 18, suffered critical injuries Aug. 19 while trying to "car surf" in the 3500 block of the East Sam Houston Parkway service road.
He died Saturday at Memorial Hermann Hospital, authorities said.
Rodriguez was riding in a GMC Jimmy when he climbed out of the front passenger window about 2:20 a.m. and tried to ride on top of the northbound vehicle, Harris County Sheriff's deputies said.
He fell to the pavement when he was trying to climb back in to the SUV through a window, witnesses told deputies
His mother said friends riding with her son called her on their cell phones to tell her what had happened. She rushed to the accident scene, which was a few blocks from her home, and found her son lying on the road unable to talk, move his lips or stand up. She said his eyes seemed lifeless.
He had massive head injuries, she added.
"He was an all around good guy," she said, "and everybody loved him."
In addition to his mother, Rodriguez is survived by his father, Lupe Rodriguez,brothers Aaron Rodriguez and Lincoln Rodriguez and sister Erica Rodriguez..
