Can u report a verifyable case where a Black cop stopped a white cop from shooting or laser stun'n a brutha or sista? Where? When?

An update on the New Orleans beating. As mentioned before, one of the cops committed suicide. But, another cop, Robert Evangelist, was just acquitted. Evangelist "elected" to have a trial without a jury [the accused can "elect" to do that?] and the judge, Frank Marullo, after reviewing the video, determined that the 60 something black retired school teacher got what he deserved. Evangelist, who was fired from the police force, is now going to try and get his old job back. We shall watch that closely:

Proof, yet again, that we are at war with people who intend to kill us.

Here are a couple of items I dug it up while sniffing around for details on the aforementioned judge, Frank Marullo. According to the Louisiana rumor mill (about 3/4 of the way down on the following web page), a few years ago, Marrullo was contemplating changing jobs and becoming a New Orleans Civil Sheriff. I am sure he will now be able to get that new job when an opening becomes available.

Second item about Marullo, which will give you some idea about Marullo family values and their respect for the law. It turns out Louisiana has a set of rules regarding judicial conduct, specifically one that states alcohol shall not be served at a judge's annual courthouse Christmas party. Well, a couple of years ago, Judge Marullo said to hell with the rules and served booze at his party anyway. Marullo's son, Pascal, drank seven beers that night he admits to and then drove off drunk. Predictably, Pascal had an accident, ran smack into the rear of a truck stopped at a red light. His passenger, 43 year old single mother, Lisa Ann Broussard, suffered injuries that, two weeks later, resulted in her death. Pascal was originally charged with vehicular homicide, but the DA reduced the charges to vehicular negligent injury.

A month later, Pascal got arrested again. This time, Pascal was stopped by the police because he was walking around in a daze. They arrested him when they found he was carrying a concealed weapon. All the Orleans Parish judges recused themselves (I guess they were done covering up for Judge Marullo's bad seed son) and an Ascension Parish judge took the case and sentenced Pascal to a year in the slammer.

At the court hearing, the mother of the woman Pascal killed while driving drunk complained that Pascal had a long arrest sheet (including drug possession, negligent injury, and gun possession), but that previous charges had been dropped by prosecutors.

Now, I brought up all this to point out that Judge Marullo, obviously, had a lot of favors that he owed police, prosecutors, judges, and DAs for covering for his son as long as they did. And, I suspect, the judge paid back those favors by letting Evangelist walk.

Just think about the ENORMOUS power we have at our disposal to, finally, end this plague of police brutality. Two rogue cops are now off the force. One of them is even off the planet. They will never again be able to hurt or kill another human being under cover of a badge. And, all this was accomplished without we, the people, having to sink to the level of the Bushes and the bin Ladens and resort to violence.

Every black person in America needs to run out, right today, and upgrade their cell phone to one that has a built-in camera.

Be warned: cops, in Atlanta, are trained: "Shoot to kill!" no more of that Hollyweird show'n of automobile tires being flatten by pistol ammonitions. Nope - dem days are kaput! Dem b aiming at your abdomen & head first.

I just hope not too many of us are expecting Justice in a CRIMINAL Justice System.

And whoever questioned whether an indicted prisoner can choose to be tried soley by a judge and no jury? A better question is how'd it happen!!?! Not can it be done? Its a done deal. For now...
