Thumbs up Snoop Dog Sponsors Youth Football League

If you live in Souther Cali, and have a kid between the ages of 5-14, you may have a chance to get them in Snoop Dog's youth league.

Talkin about giving back to the community, Snoop provides a awesome conduit for constructive activity for 'at-risk' kids, affording them the opportunity to learn and develop a slew of valuable intangibles.

There's even a plan to expand the leage beyond the original 8 teams. business and NFL players are starting to get involved as well.

I found this recent article from the LATimes on Snoop's League. You can also find some info at www.snoopdogg.com.

Way to go Snoop!

Much respect to Snoog for doing things like this. In recent years he's tried to put his money and fame to good use. I only wish that the example he's set as a role model was a little better.

I guess you could argue that the REAL example is that he got past his crazy youth and started doing good things with his life, uplifting the community and all.

I agree.

If I lived in Cali, and my son was interested in football, I would have to look the other way. Sure the program is great, but I don't believe what he believes and I don't want my son looking up to anyone like him... So I'd have to pass.
