Do you lie...

to your parents or the person who acts as the guardian of you?

Questions that are usually asked to me are "Are you caught up on all of your bills? Do you need some extra money?" My answers are Yes.. and No. When in reality the truth is No.. and Yes. I am trying to do this on my own, so even if I get a little behind on something I would rather sort it out myself than to admit to needing help. I know a lie is a lie, but in a way I feel its for a good purpose... I could be wrong though.

My son tells me those same lies, for the same reason. As long as you solve it yourself, and don't eventually go asking for help, then your "guardian" will stop asking those questions that make you feel so guilty.

Parents can see right through you so my answer would have to be no. I'd rather tell 'em the truth to get what I want as opposed to lying to them.

It's Like That

Due to the current financial restraints the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

See, my house would be in foreclosure, my water will be off, and lights out before I admit to needing help.. and then look back and wonder what a lie was really worth.

Don't we all lie at some time. But as i am coming to realise you only lie to the thing /person you FEAR and when we fear something we give that thing/person inordinate POWER.
Peace

Yes we do, but its just funny how a lie is a lie yet some lies are acceptable and others arent. Of course there are different degrees to lying, but as soon as we catch another person in one, some act as if its immoral.

Exclamation

You know sometimes a withholding of information is good, and other times it isn't. Although i'm tight with my wife, there is a tiny place in there, that even she can't get to. I give her some of my cash, but certainly not all of it. We have a share, and share alike policy, but i know the girl will hold back mad money. Don't ask don't tell. It is not lying. It's going with the karma of the other person. I give misinformation alot to coworkers who are nosey. It works better sometimes, than the truth, because they don't seem to handle it,or accept it.
