As a child did you ever get a spanking for something that you didn't do?
We all have our views on spanking children, but this isn't about that!
As a child have any of you got a spanking for something you didn't do or something you look back on and say that was just a silly excuse to spank me? Did you ever take the blame for a sibling and in return get a spanking?
I cant say that I have, but I got a spanking for alot of silly stuff.. atleast I think it was silly. I got a spanking once for getting dirt in my shoes and getting my white socks dirty. Now a parent being a sound mind individual, I would think you wouldn't send your 6 year old to school with dress shoes on play day. OF COURSE I'm going to get dirt in my shoes, but that don't mean I took my shoes off and put the dirt in them.

I'm sure that I have been in that situation before. I just can't remember the particular incident. It all balanced out in the end for me though.

I have been in that situation and 99% of black people have too......as well as overpunishing...99.999% of black people been thru that foolishness. What determines if we have any sense will be if we turn around and do the same stupidness because.....and I HATE this phrase....... "I turned out alright" (according to that person speakig individually).
This happens when parents get lazy and hit as a first response or becuase it is the easier thing to do.....also cause they want the kids to suffer how they did as a kid. It is all around bad parenting and it is good for all of us, wether or no we post here, to remember those stories so that we dont do such idiotic things as parents.

I cant think of a time where I've gotten a "Whoopin" for something I didnt do....Like some of yall said....yea for silly things (for gettin hurt, not eating)

I got a spanking once from my grandpa because I didn't eat my lunch at school my grandma made for me. Kept telling 'em I didn't like peanut butter and jelly but I got in trouble for it anyway.

I really cant remember getting spanked that much as a child. I do remember I got in trouble one time for something i didnt do. I had the habbit of lying....as many young kids do, and I had lied so much that this this time they wouldnt believe me. So, I got the whuppin.
