Have you traced your family history?
I've tried gathering as much information as I can.

I found out I am related to some royal type family in england, like they were dukes and dutchesses or something like that, I just met my biological father so I have to begin work on that. Some of my family is related to Vikings.

M_I_M, I ain't gonna start calling you Your Royal _____,Sir Duke,Your Majesty or nothin' else.
BTW, does this mean that you have a Royal Heinie? Yeah, I know that I probably spelled that word wrong. :whistling
On a more serious note, the fact that you were able to gather that much information is a good thing.

My aunt has been working on my grandmothers history for a few years now. I guess it isnt that easy to dig up history on these people but since they are from a small town in canada it may have been slightly easier to gather info not to mention my grandmothers sister is still alive, it is interesting though cause i always used to say that if all the people in england died along with all their ancestors I would be the king of england, unfortunately my plot has not worked itself out yet.

There is a first cousin on my daddy's side of the family that probably has information that would be helpful to me. I've been trying to find infromation on my Paternal Grandmother.
My daddy also had a son that's older than me. No one in the family has information on this older brother. I'll have to let it go since my daddy and all of his siblings are deceased.

I have had the pleasure of being able to do a family tree project for my fathers side of my family and I was actually able to trace my paternal lineage back to my two Great Grand Mothers. One was from Kershaw county, SC. she was born in 1846 and the other was born in Leesburg Co, SC. in 1868. Ones son married the others daughter and they eventually had 14 children the youngest of them was my father. I also have the names of my Great Grand Fathers but I havn't found any dates on them yet.
I wish you all the best on your search and if you need any suggestions let me know.

That's fantastic! I used to work with someone who attended a family reunion and discovered that he's related to a famous actress.
Are you a member of any of the Genealogy sites?

It has not been any big fact finding mission. I just learned these things over the years from my parents as a kid, and as I got older. The most recent thing I heard was where my moms grandparents were from...I had assumed it was the same as where she was from. I just pick up pieces and put them together....never really laid anything out or wrote anything down.
