My baby sister passed today
....She had been very sick. She had lupus and it was tearing down her internal organs. There were a few other times when we thought she was going to leave us and she always came back. Those other times I was concerned but last week when she went into the hospital (her kidneys stopped functioning) I was bothered. This time somehow felt different. I cried and prayed, hard this time.
Day before yesterday I got a chance to tell her that I loved her and to hold on.. she said that she loved me too and that she was going to hold on. I couldn't talk with her yesterday because she went into a coma and she just passed about an hour and a half ago.
I don't feel bad though, I mean so many people was praying for her. Sometimes what we don't understand is really best. I will sorely miss her. I feel bad that I didn't show her the love earlier in her life that I should have. Well, I'm not feeling that way too much now because it is what it is.
The really sad part is not that she was only about 26 or 27 but she left three precious, young children to mourn her passing; One a sickly premie who is now about 14 months and in and out of the hospital himself. I am now concerned about who is going to be taking care of the children.
The family will just have to get through this and the children will be alright!

OH NO! Im so sorry to hear of our loss Sis, its comforting to know that you had the time to tell her and show that you loved her recently, so many times our loved ones are taken away, while we are left with sorrow, because we didnt say or do all that we wanted for them but Im sure she knows....and understands..Wow, she was soo young, lupus is horrible.. *In Prayer*..may the CREATOR give you, and your family the strength, guidance, monetary, and emotional support,... & whatever else is needed, to help you all through this time.... *REST WITH PEACE ROSEMARIE, lord knows, you had a fight on your hands sis, you have fought long enough*

Dragon? *HUGS" x 10!!! You and your entire family DO have my deepest condolences.
I'm deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved sister, Rosemarie.
I, too, lost a sister...we lost one of "the six" sisters as we've always been called July, one year ago. Being my "big sister," who taught me things like how to dance, etc. she was a continual rock and presence in my life.
I'm so glad that you "made time to give time" to Rosemarie. But now, she has crossed over. But in that knowledge? KNOW that a new life awaits her as does Spirit. She fought the good fight, but KNOW that her trials are over and that she is now under grace. She is at rest.
In 2006, back-to-back, I lost my BEST friend from Lupus on my birthday and HER niece, aged 16 years the very NEXT day from Lupus. So, I understand that this is a VERY trying time for all of you.
Please. If you want to talk, vent, yell, scream....whatever. "I'm here for YOU." Always.
Again, my condolences on such a tragic loss.

Dragon, my most heart-felt prayers go out to you and your family for the lost of your sister. Losing someone, especially a child is rough. Try to stay stong girl, if you need a listening ear, I'm here, along with 50+ of your brotha's and sista's here.
Be encouraged, we love you.

Wow, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have one sister and I thank God for her, don't know what I'd do if I lost her. I can only hope that I would find peace in knowing that, like you and some of the others here have said, her struggle is over, she loved and was loved in return and she ready to move on. It seems like she blessed you with many things that you can carry on with you through life, her children being three of them. You're in my prayers.
God bless you.

Sorry for your lost.
I always hate hearing news like this because no matter how different or far the situation is....it always seems to hit close to home.
Take care

Sorry to hear of your loss. I pray for you and hope that you find peace and that you will cherish the memories of your sister and this peace will give you the strength to go on. I also hope you find the strength to be there for your sister's children . . . until you all meet again.
